The best way we know of to remove the white menace comes from Shannon Larkin, who in a desperate attempt to clean a cocktail dress for an event, picked up a piece of foam lying around her bedroom and started rubbing the stained area. One year and many "foam density" tests later, Larkin and a partner have created Gal Pal, a pink sponge (it looks oddly like a dyed Buf-Puf) that lifts off most stains with a gentle rub. For those that won't budge, Larkin says, "there is a second Gal Pal in the package that you dampen with water, squeezing out the excess before you use it to rub again."
