Article Excerpt:

What's the best way to get rid of white deodorant stains?
As you have probably already discovered, dabbing with water is helpful only until the fabric dries. The best way we know of to remove the white menace comes from Shannon Larkin, who in a desperate attempt to clean a cocktail dress for an event, picked up a piece of foam lying around her bedroom and started rubbing the stained area. One year and many "foam density" tests later, Larkin and a partner have created Gal Pal, a pink sponge (it looks oddly like a dyed Buf-Puf) that lifts off most stains with a gentle rub. For those that won't budge, Larkin says, "there is a second Gal Pal in the package that you dampen with water, squeezing out the excess before you use it to rub again." A pack of two sponges is $8; available at gal-pal.com.
